Mr. Franz-Josef Buetfering, President of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery / EUMABOIS: “Lesdrevmash Exhibition is the best platform for doing business"

The European Federation of Woodworking Machinery EUMABOIS gives support to the Russian leading industry exhibition "Lesdrevmash 2012".  Mr. Franz-Josef Buetfering, The President of EUMABOIS, paid a working visit to the event and shared his impressions concerning the current show   at Expocentre.

“We have been cooperating with Lesdrevmash for about 25 years, and I am impressed with huge changes that took place”, - said Mr. Buetfering in the interview to our correspondent.

EUMABOIS groups 14 European national industry associations representing about 800 leading manufacturers of machinery for the woodworking industry. "At present, European exporters are showing an increased interest to the Russian market, and in this respect Lesdrevmash is getting even more significant for EUMABOIS members," - said the president of EUMABOIS.

The national participation of European companies, organized with the support of EUMABOIS at Lesdrevmash-2012, is the largest in the history of the show. 191 European companies are represented here, including the leading manufacturers for woodworking. The national pavilions are formed by the following national associations: VDMA (Germany), AFEMMA (Spain), ACIMALL (Italy), "Drevmash" (Russia), SYMOP (France), SVDSZ (Czech Republic).

"Our exhibitors note the high level of the exhibition - the number of visitors has grown by almost 10% compared to previous shows, and the most important factor is the increased quality of visitors, many of which are specialists, which allows for negotiation on a high professional level," - said Mr. Buetfering.

The president of EUMABOIS also underlined that "the participation of EUMABOIS’s member companies in the Russia’s main industry exhibition is necessary for maintaining existing contacts and searching for new partners."
