Participant Feedback

"Lesdrevmash is a very interesting event in the Russian woodworking industry. For over 15 years many Italian woodworking companies have participated in the trade show. It has already become a tradition for us. We're fully satisfied with the show from its management to visitor quality and quantity. We shall be attending Lesdrevmash 2018".

Andrea Matiello, representative of the Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ICE)

"Japan does its best to support its manufacturers. In this regard, having received an offer from the Russian party the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan decided to support participation of Japanese manufacturers of woodworking equipment in Lesdrevmash. Thanks to the trade show, the Russian timber specialists and industry players had an opportunity to see the products showcased by our colleagues and build up long-term business relations resulting into contracts and supplies. It's a unique opportunity for Japanese manufacturers to enter the Russian market".

Tsuyoshi Iwaida, representative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan

"Many Japanese companies have known the Lesdrevmash exhibition for many years and already participated in it before. But this year for the first time we decided to bring together all the companies manufacturing equipment for each step of woodworking process in one Japanese pavilion. As a result, our pavilion features 17 Japanese companies. We're very glad to be here at this major trade show. We hope participation in Lesdrevmash 2016 will have a considerable and positive influence on promotion of our products".

Atsushi Kikukawa, Vice President of the Japan Woodworking Machinery Association

"We manufacture woodworking equipment and service it around the globe. We've taken part in the trade show for over ten years. Lesdrevmash is a key event for our industry. Here we meet visitors from the CIS. We've generated many business leads. So, the trade show is very effective for us".

Maria Danilina, PR Specialist, SCM Group (Italy)

"We've worked in Russia since 2005 and since then we've participated in Lesdrevmash. My impression of the trade show is positive: we've met a lot of our regular customers and new ones who show interest in our products. As to woodworking the trade show is good; all leading companies are presented. Loggers like us are not numerous, that's why I can see some potential for the trade show growth in this area".

Yuri Galkin, representative of PONSSE (Finland)

"We've participated in Lesdrevmash for about 20 years. It's the main trade show for us and we prepare for it very carefully. The trade show is the place where we can discuss current issues and problems with our customers and outline the collaborative strategy. Lesdrevmash is the platform which allows doing it all because it covers the whole industry. It's the main advantage of the trade show, in my opinion. This year the visitors are rather active".

Yuri Khokhlov, Technical Director, KAMI Association
