Matching Lesdrevmash

Visitors boom at the Lesdrevmash trade show, which celebrates its 40th anniversary, testifies to high quality of this event. Although official partner of the Russian section Centrlesexpo OAO took an active part in the organization of the show, General Director of the company Timur Irtuganov said that the exhibition was a success owing to Expocentre alone.

“Many trade fairs in different sectors left the exhibition market having failed to stay afloat in the recession period for our industry. But Lesdrevmash not just overcame all difficulties but also hit world’s top five trade shows in the woodworking industry. Expocentre played key role in the development of this trade show and we would like to express our appreciation to the company. When organizational models of trade fairs changed and USSR ministries lost their organizational functions, Expocentre shouldered this burden and set the trade show on the upper level.

Today Lesdrevmash is a successful commercial project, trade fair number one not only in Russia but also in Eastern Europe, which is confirmed by numerous facts. For example, German pavilion at Lesdrevmash is the largest among the pavilions arranged by German manufacturers at the foreign woodworking shows. Increase in the exhibition area is natural, but Expocentre converted commercial success of its projects, including Lesdrevmash, into a wider range of services provided for participants and visitors.

Over the years the team of the Lesdrevmash Division has changed several times but one thing has remained unaltered that is competence and expertise of its members. Effective management and ability to build an effective team is undoubtedly Expocentre’s achievement. Today we have an absolute leader in the exhibition market which provides both market leaders in the woodworking industry and startups with an opportunity to show themselves. Many companies prepare for this trade fair for two years and do not take part in other trade shows; they save their strength for participation in Lesdrevmash. Doesn’t it testify to high reputation and relevance of the trade show?”
