Dear colleagues,
We would like to thank you for your participation in the 16th edition of the International Exhibition for Machinery, Equipment and Technology for Logging, Woodworking and Furniture Industries – Lesdrevmash 2016 – on 24–27 Ocotber at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow.
Lesdrevmash ranks in the top five woodworking and logging shows and bears labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The event was organized by Expocentre AO jointly with the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia with support from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, EUMABOIS, and under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Japan premieres at Lesdrevmash
The Japan Woodworking Machinery Association (JWMA) presented 17 of Japan's leading logging and woodworking machinery manufacturers such as Fuji, Hirota Corporation, Kanefusa Corporation, Kitagawa Engineering, OI Seisakusho, Suzuko, etc.

Associated events
As usual Lesdrevmash offered many associated events including such important ones as the 8th edition of the Forest and Man International Forum, the Consultation Session on the Russian Export Centre: about Instruments to Support Woodworking Equipment Export, the First Convention of Machine Builders and Woodworkers of Russia, the International Conference on Bioenergy: Pellets, Briquettes, Wood Chips, Biomass CHP and Boilers, and the Conference on the Russian Board Industry: Opportunities and Prospects in Difficult Economic Environment.
Lesdrevmash 2016 also included the first World Skills Russia woodworking competition "Young Professionals" for people aged 16-22. It was organized by WorldSkills Russia jointly with Expocentre AO. The winners will become members of the Russia National Team, which will take part in the WorldSkills 2017 competition in Abu Dhabi.
All associated events encouraged their participants to discuss the most relevant issues of the Russian timber industry and look for effective solutions for the industry in the current economic environment.
